Who's behind it
AngelHub is built by Certitia, a software company specialising in software for investors. Certitia is led by David Jackson, a three times founder and active angel investor.
David has seen all sides of the software business: a founder and CEO leading companies through growth and exit, an advisor to PE and VC companies and an investor. He brings this wide experience and a love of great software to Certitia.
Data & hosting
AngelHub runs on Supabase and Cloudflare, with AI analysis powered by a proprietary LLM Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
GDPR & retention
Closed and archived projects are kept separate, with GDPR-aligned retention logic built into the platform. If a group cancels, its data stays available to export for 90 days, after which it's deleted per our retention policy.
How the AI is actually used
AngelAI runs on Claude,is grounded in a curated knowledge base of UK investment practice, not a general model guessing at what "due diligence" means. Every AI output is clearly labelled as AI-generated. Nothing it produces is a verdict: assessments are drafts for a human to confirm, correct, or override. The investment decision always belongs to the investors.
